Dr. Ann Fruhling, is an Associate Professor in the Information Systems and Quantitative Analysis department in the College of Information Science and Technology at the University of Nebraska - Omaha. Her research includes system usability studies in e-health specifically focusing on the needs of rural residents in the State of Nebraska, agile methods focusing on eXtreme programming, value-based software engineering and Human Computer Interaction. She has taught courses in Database Systems Design and Management, Java Programming, Software Engineering, Information Systems Analysis, Human Computer Interaction and User Interface Design to name a few. She is also the Principle Investigator for a Laboratory Integration Project that researches and implements leading-edge information technology solutions for an emergency response system and laboratory diagnostic consultation system, called STATPackā„¢.
