Sajda Qureshi is Professor at the Information
Systems and Quantitative Analysis Department at the College of Information Science and
Technology at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She holds a Ph.D. in
Information Systems from the London
School of Economics and Political Science at the University of London the United Kingdom.
She has been coordinator of the Commonwealth Network of
Information Technology for Development. She was at the Department of
Decision and Information Sciences at the Faculty of Management at Erasmus University Rotterdam in the
Netherlands.
She has lectured at the MIS
Department of the University of Arizona in the USA
and has been involved in various consultancy projects in Italy and the
UK. She has over 100 publications in journals such as Group Decision and
Negotiation, Information Infrastructure and Policy and Communications of
the ACM, books published by Prentice Hall, Springer-Verlag,
Chapman and Hall and North-Holland and conferences such as the
International Conference in Information Systems and the Hawaii
International Conference on Systems Sciences.
She has performed editorial work for Journals
such as DataBase
for Advances in Information Systems and conferences
such as the International Conference for Information Systems (ICIS), and
the Hawaii International Conference on Systems Sciences (HICSS).
Her research interests include the use of electronic communication
technologies to support coordination and decision- making processes
within international networks and network organizations.
