After the duet from Mehndi in the last post here is another Hemant-Lata duet under MD Ravi. My personal favorite is the other Hemant-Lata duet from this film 'kal ke chaa.Nd aaj ke sapane'. The beauty of this song is also comparable to 'kal ke chaa.Nd'. Hemant and Lata intersperse their lines as a dialog between two lovers seeking out on the oad of their new found love. The song starts at a low note with Hemant exploiting his bass to create an exquisite effect. The antaras conveying the doubts and fears of the lovers are strung to a high pitch while the confirmative consolation at the end returns to the low notes before merging with the sthayi.
