tumhe.n yaad hogaa

A popular Hemant-lata duet from Satta Bazar. This was the first time that Hemant sang for KA. (His earlier work was for Kalyanji Virji Shah alone in Post Box 999.) Both of Hemant's song in this movie(the other one is chaa.Ndii ke cha.nd tuka.Do.n ke li_e - song# 36 on this series) are in the background. But the effect that they achieve are impeccable. The widely available version of this song on LP and CS, and perhaps CD too has only stanzas 1, 2 and 5 - which do not sound very coherent. The complete song though makes a perfect dialog between the female and the male characters singing this song, pining for their lost love.
