Lest I be accused of being overly biased against Asha, I bring here her wonderful gem with Hemantda. My affinity for Hemantda's soft songs, which he excelled at, forces me post only his soothing romantic songs. Here is one from the movie : Arab Ka Saudagar. The Music Director is Hemantda himself:). I could rave and rant about his music, now that I know I am sure about the pstats, but later. The lyrics are surprising by Ravi. Now which Ravi is this? Is it the Music Director, who was Hemantda's Assistant before he became a full-fledged music director himself? If it is the same person, I am impressed. This duet is excellent in terms of lyrics too. Does he have any other works in the market? Asha's voice though not shokh in this song or polished, still sounds very sweet. This is the Asha I like.

Now it seems that this could even be classified as a ghazal. What say Abhay?
