Another very melodious Hemant-Lata duet - a family song, with father(Sunil Dutt), mother(Meena Kumari) and son(Daisy Irani) on a day-out riding a bi-pedalled cycle. Daisy Irani sitting in the front basket plays the wonderful prelude and interludes on a mouth-organ. I consider this song as one of the best Hemant MD-ed Hemant-Lata duets - the lyrics painting a colorful picture and the voices alternating to complete the painting.

Another surprising fact to me was that this popular song has not yet made it to the ISB, but the lesser known duet "chamaka banakar aman kaa taaraa" from this movie was a very old entry.
