Dr. Gert-Jan de Vreede is a Professor at the Department of Information Systems & Quantitative Analysis at the University of Nebraska at Omaha where he is director of the Peter Kiewit Institute's Program on E-Collaboration. He is also affiliated with the Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management of Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands from where he received his PhD. In 1996 he was a Visiting Professor at the Department of Management Information Systems at the University of Arizona. In addition, he works as an international consultant in the area of collaboration and collaboration technologies.
